Satellite Program

We have created a satellite program to make the DRC community and facility more accessible to those who are already homeschooling, and for those working with OPWDD, who do not require assistance to develop a learning plan. This program provides full access to DRC's facilities, resources and materials, as well as mentoring support, with the understanding that their children specifically will not receive assistance with learning plan (IHIP) or Quaterly Report development.

We invite our satellite members to participate in projects and activities and be full members of our community. We will support and encourage children to take advantage of our opportunities but ultimately the decision to participate is left to the member and the family. We do, however, have a set of expectations and recommendations for each member that we feel will allow each child and family to get the full benefit from the services we provide.
