Provide a safe, non-coercive, self-directed educational alternative that meets each child's desire for autonomy - while allowing space for curiosity and creativity to support their healthy intellectual and emotional development.
School Re-imagined
Deep Root Center is an alternative to school because we believe that all young people deserve a safe educational environment where they feel like they are an important part of the community - and where they are free to explore all the possibilities. We understand that learning happens when each student member intuitively recognizes that they are accepted for who they are and are trusted to make decisions, make mistakes, and explore all their interests to achieve their ever-evolving aspirations.

DRC Little Free Pantry
In response to skyrocketing prices for groceries and other essential items, and the uncertainty around SNAP benefits, DRC has opened a Little Free Pantry to support any of our neighbors who may be struggling, including SUNY Canton students.
Please spread the word!
