This game is called Skyrim. It came out in 2011 and has since become one of the most popular RPG's (Role Playing Game's) of all time, winning over 200 game of the year awards. The game places you in a land called, you guessed it, Skyrim, which you have to save from a massive dragon invasion. There are no classes in this game, you can pick any one of ten different races, High Elves is a race of gifted mages who are also extremely hostile to anyone that is who is not an elf, Argonians are a reptilian race who can breathe underwater, Wood Elves live in trees and sadly do not make cookies, but are very good Archers, Bretons are great mages and do not much else to recommend them, Dark Elves are fifty percent resistant to fire and make pretty good assassins, Imperials very good merchants and swordsmen, Khajiit are great for anything stealth related however because of there reputation as thieves Guards will blame you for anything that goes missing, Nords are great at smithing and two handed combat but not so much for stealth or magic. Orcs are basically green and ugly Nords. Redguards are pretty good at one handed and alchemy. Anyway basically you can take any of these races and turn into whatever "class" you want and use any gear you want while your at it. For example: I once made an orc assassin that wore full Daedric Armor and used a two handed axe ( Pictures below )
Daedric Armour, Forged from Ebony and the hearts of slain Daedra.
Now imagine being in a dark alley with no guards around and suddenly seeing a guy wearing that armor and carrying that ax (its a lot bigger than the picture suggests) charging at you out of the shadows, and that's about how my life as an assassin went. Then I got bored and moved on with the main story line. Also you have the opportunity to become a supernatural monster!! YAY!!. You have the option of becoming either a werewolf by joining The Companions
A Werewolf in beast form.
Which allows you to turn into the above.. Or you can become a Vampire Lord by Choosing that option during the Dawnguard questline. After which you receive a 25 percent boost to Illusion magic and sneak as well as a 50 percent frost resistance. However you get a 50 percent weakness to fire which can be counteracted by playing as a Dark Elf as their racial trait is that they are 50 percent resistant to fire and these two traits cancel each other out out. Oh and you can turn into this
Vampire Lord Form
Which gives you access to a teleportation ability, You can also become mist to regen health, magic, and stamina. And can also resurrect defeated enemies as an undead servant, summon a gargoyle, pull people close to you and then throw them around. However you will have to deal with the Dawnguard (the group you originally joined) sending men and armoured trolls after you.
You can also become the leader of several groups such as: The Companions which is how you become a Werewolf, The Dark Brotherhood a group of assassins, The Thieves Guild which is fairly self explanatory or The Mages College of Winterhold which is also undoubtedly the most boring questline in the game mostly consisting of following people and talking to them. My personal favorite questline is that of The Companions giving you access to some of the best followers in the game and to the best smithing trainer in the game named Eorlund Gray-mane.
You can even if you choose to do so marry and adopt children who will then live in whichever house you select.
